Casting for my short series!
We are casting for a piece of my new Creative Education Series on Youtube, a short film with the working title "Reimagined"! Here is what we are planning and what we are casting for-
"Reimagined" is a short film retelling an old story of the battle between good and evil. This will be a fun, easy going, no budget project. No experience is necessary, and it's important to us that everyone has a great time while filming this project for our Creative Education series. No pay, but meals and snacks will be provided and you will receive a copy. Feel free to use the footage for your portfolio! We are planning to film in the Plano/Wylie, Texas area, so we are hiring local actors. We can't pay for travel or lodging, so please only apply if you are local or have the ability to travel on your own.
Here are the roles we are casting for-
Young Girl 1- 12 years old, mixed race (African American and Caucasian), petite, brown curly hair, needed for 1 scene with a lot of emotion
Young Girl 2- 16 years old, mixed race (African American and Caucasian), slim, dark brown curly hair, needed for 1 scene with a lot of emotion. These two characters are sisters, so real siblings are encouraged to apply!
Phoebe- 22, African American (fully or mixed), attractive, brown hair, emotional and rebellious but very loving with a big heart, trying to turn around her life after dealing with a rough past
Grandma- 40s to 60s, African American, sassy and confident, but also kind and caring, she aims to protect her granddaughters from the dark forces coming after them
Boyfriend- Mid to late 20s, Caucasian, attractive, a journalist with a hidden identity
Detective 1- Late 20s, male, Caucasian, attractive, dark hair, athletic, an intuitive man looking into a strange series of murders
Detective 2- Late 20s to 30s, male, Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, or African American, attractive, athletic, Detective 1's partner
Demon- 50s+, male, Caucasian, evil being with a nefarious agenda
Antique Store Owner- 30s, male, open ethnicity, attractive, dark hair, British or other foreign accent preferred (but not necessary)
Assistant- 20s to 30s, female, open ethnicity, attractive, the antique shop owner's assistant
